The daughter of the late Whitney Houston believes she is the only real choice to star in a film about the life of the legendary singer. Rihanna has recently expressed interest in starring in a Houston biopic. Singer Robin Thicke also publicly stated that he thinks his wife, actress Paula Patton, would be an excellent choice to play Whitney on film. However, Bobbi Kristina Brown reportedly thinks that if anyone heads a Whitney Houston movie, it ought to be her.

TMZ quotes sources close to Bobbi Kristina saying the 19-year-old aspiring singer and actress feels she knew Whitney Houston better than anyone. Moreover, she believes that if Easy E’s son, Eric Wright Jr., can portray his father in a movie about the rap group, NWA, she can do the same for her mom.
Although there has been increased talk about a Whitney Houston movie, no one is officially trying to helm such a project. In February, reports surfaced that Houston’s longtime mentor, Clive Davis, was planning to produce a biopic featuring stars like Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, and Vivica A. Fox. However, a rep for the record executive squashed those rumors via statement saying, ”There is no truth to this. Clive is not putting together a biopic.”
